A poll on cosmetics use of men reveals that one in seven can’t live without using beauty products such as concealers, eyeliners, hair dye and fake tans, with one-fourth of the men admitting using cosmetics at least once a week. The poll conducted by Opinium Research show that males are as vain as females when it comes to appearance, and that men also go to great lengths to look good.
Other popular items used by men include anti-ageing products, nail varnish, face powder, eye creams, mascara and lipstick, even borrowing these from girlfriends and wives who are quite happy to lend the cosmetics products. The popularity of make up in men is apparently boosted by celebrities who appear in public wearing so-called “manscara” and “guyliners.”
